unable to do anything.

I cant watch the learning videos in fullscreen mode on my 13 in macbook pro its just blackscreen when I enlarge but will play small. I cant resize any windows therefore I cannot take the test exam because the bottom is cut off where I cannot select the tab to test. Also cannot resize window to allow me to do this.
